THEME PARK LOST AND FOUND
Japan theme park lost and found: reporting after you leave
How to file a detailed theme-park report, understand return restrictions, and plan recovery after leaving Japan.
Last verified: July 2026
Short answer
Use the park's official lost-property form as soon as possible and submit one report per item where requested. Tokyo Disney Resort asks the owner to register the item and provides an English form for guests who have left the park. Return methods depend on the contents: items containing cash or personal information may have stricter in-person collection rules.
What to do
- 1
Record the route through the park
List the date, approximate time, attractions, restaurants, shops, seating areas, lockers, and transport used after you last saw the item.
- 2
Submit a detailed official report
Include category, brand, character or design, color, size, serial number, contents, unique marks, and a reference photo. File separate reports when the park requests one item per submission.
- 3
Check identity and return restrictions
Tokyo Disney Resort states that cash and items containing personal information, including phones, IC cards, IDs, and payment cards, cannot simply be returned by mail under the standard process. Follow the holder's instructions.
- 4
Confirm the collection or shipping deadline
If collection is offered, note the park, service window, ID requirements, and deadline. If shipping is offered, confirm prohibited contents, destination limits, courier charges, customs fees, and liability terms.
